OCASI is starting two new youth-led projects under the umbrella of the OYN (OCASI Youth Network).
These projects were both started to provide better services and information to newcomer youth in Ontario.
SYNC (Services for Youth in Newcomer Communities) will be a guide of best practices to be used by youth settlement workers. The guide will be based on community-based research and will be carried out by youth leaders from across the province as well as youth service providers.
The website for newcomer youth will provide reliable province-wide info and referral, and will also feature a discussion forum and multimedia gallery.
In order to make these projects meaningful, we need your input!
